Eleven people were reportedly arrested for friendship. Among them, a 14-year-old girl met with a 16-year-old surnamed Mo. Mo Nan had a dispute with the girl and another 17-year-old boy due to relationship problems. Mo was attacked by many people in a back alley of How Ming Street, Kwun Tong. Mo was later taken to Feiyun Road near Fei Goose Garden in Clear Water Bay, where he was attacked by many people and prevented from leaving. His mobile phone was also suspected of being stolen. A taxi driver witnessed the juvenile being taken to Fei'e Mountain, feeling suspicious and called the police.
Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate and found the victim's mobile phone on one of the 18-year-old teenagers surnamed Wei. He was arrested on suspicion of illegal imprisonment, assault causing actual bodily harm and theft. In addition, 9 men and 1 woman aged between 13 and 18 were arrested. On suspicion of illegal detention and assault causing actual bodily harm, the arrested person is being detained for investigation. The case was handed over to the Kwun Tong District Anti-Triad Action Team for follow-up.
