Part of France is undergoing a new episode of heat from this Thursday, a priori less intense than last week but which could last a week in some regions. Météo France has also just placed 45 departments in orange heat wave vigilance.
A "very intense heat peak in the southwest of Pays-de-la-Loire on Friday" will be prolonged "by a lasting heat wave over a large part of France", indicates the meteorological body.
