The Youth Illegal Prevention Center of the Youth Association held today the online awards ceremony of the “Restart” Youth Recognition Program 2020 to commend and commend young people for their courage to reform and rejuvenate, hoping to use their experiences to encourage young people to abide by the law and build a positive outlook on life. There are about 30 to 40 nominations each year, and eight winners are finally selected after evaluation.

The current audio-visual instructor, 30-year-old Zhu Hui (pseudonym) was one of the winners. At the age of 16, his girlfriend had a drug habit and induced him to take drugs. He considered himself a naughty boy before and had no plans to study. His mother's death caused a blow to him. In order to avoid worries, every time he took a lot of ketamine commonly known as "Kate" to reach a state of psychedelic and unconsciousness, security guards once took him home. About a year after he took drugs, his family was found to be taking drugs and was ridiculed by his relatives.

The physical damage caused by drugs gradually emerged, and Zhu Hui had persecuted hallucinations, painful urination and frequent urination. He said that the most serious thing was that after detoxification, he took a three-hour flight to Taiwan and went to the bathroom three to four times. He had traveled to treat drugs and stayed with relatives, but he failed in drug treatment nearly 20 times, frankly frankly weak. When the 24-year-old was remanded in Lai Chi Kok Reception Center for possession of drugs, he saw that his 60-year-old inmates in the same room were not visited. He did not want his family to be disappointed and abandoned, so he determined to quit drugs, determined to change his bad habits, and immediately moved into the Christian Survival Fellowship. Drug rehabilitation village.

Friends and family encouraged him to enter the drug rehabilitation village, especially his sister gave him a doll to show their support. He studied photography in the institution, and often shot videos to play tricks on the staff and students of the institution. Master scolded him for not serious work and mischief is hard to come by. Master’s teachings as a drug addict made him seriously review. He recalled that the original intention of learning photography stemmed from seeing hope in Master’s life, wanting to learn from him to build his own works through the camera, and to teach photography. After spending more than a year on successful drug rehabilitation, he did not want to waste his drug rehabilitation experience, and voluntarily stayed in the drug rehabilitation village for nearly three years as a co-worker to help others.

He and his friends set up a filming team "Why Shot Production", currently shooting for community organizations, teaching students with special learning needs, sharing their own experience of drug rehabilitation, and practicing Master's advice-"Use the lens to be a blessing to others, and blessing with past experiences other people".

Another winner, 19-year-old Xiaobing (pseudonym), because of the poor relationship between his parents, the family has no peace, and longing for love, began to fall in love and run away from home at the age of 15. But cohabiting with her boyfriend caused her to be hurt and frightened. Her father's constant care and trust made her feel the care she received from other people. Xiaobing also cultivated his interest in making desserts and flower arranging so as to affirm and find his own value. Xiaobing decided to change and went home to live to learn how to deal with emotions and get along with his family. Love was no longer the first priority. She is currently engaged in the retail industry and intends to re-apply for the middle five evening school, hoping to enter university to take psychology-related courses. My father always admired Xiaobing and was confident of her winning the prize, and was very pleased to learn the result.
