A nightmare. That was what lived a 73-year-old retired mendocina who on Tuesday morning was assaulted at her home by three criminals who savagely beat her and stole two million pesos and jewelry . The woman had to be hospitalized, although she is out of danger.
As reported by the newspaper Los Andes , the episode occurred in the house located at 2200 Juan José Paso street, in the Mendoza town of General Las Heras. The woman, originally from Italy, was in the kitchen when three criminals entered from the rooftops, took her from behind, and brutally tied her up.
Between beatings and screams, the thieves rummaged around the house in search of valuables. They were two hours , until they heard that someone was arriving and decided to escape through the roofs.
But before they saw the woman's daughter enter, the men had taken more than 2 million pesos, jewelry and watches. They are still at large.
The victim, meanwhile, had to be hospitalized at the Lagomaggiore center with multiple injuries and a rib fracture. Anyway, she is out of danger.
Members of the 36 police station in Las Heras intervened and the complaint was filed with the Fiscal Office 6.
