The Formula 1 team Racing Point will lose points in the constructors' world championship, the complaint of its rival Renault accusing it of having copied Mercedes for certain elements of its single-seater having been accepted, announced Friday the International Federation of automotive (FIA). Racing Point will lose 7.5 points per car entered in the championship, or 15 points in total, the same source said. Renault believed that Racing Point had copied for its car this year some parts, including the brake scoops, from the victorious Mercedes last year. Racing Point has the option to appeal this decision
