A man in his twenties has been missing since Thursday evening around 9 p.m. According to a witness who probably spent the evening with him, he was drunk and wanted to cool off by swimming in the Seine in Boulogne-Billancourt. He would have entered the water at 11, quai du 4-Septembre.
In his hearing, the witness said he saw him swimming and then lost sight of him for about 30 minutes. It was only then that he would have called for help. Other people confirm the thesis of the accident.
For more than two hours, firefighters and police scoured the river. About forty firefighters went looking for him. A nautical group as well as a dog group were engaged. Dogs at an extremely advanced training level can indeed follow a trail even in the water, while remaining on a boat or on the shore.
A little before midnight despite everything, the search was stopped without the young man being found. According to his evening companion, who probably did not know him very well, the still missing victim would be around 25 years old and live in Nanterre. At present, the thesis of a drowning is strongly favored.
