The Buenos Aires Minister of Health, Daniel Gollan , evaluated this Thursday that "it is unimaginable that if we do not have a vaccine, hundreds of thousands will go to the Coast" in the 2021 summer season in Argentina.

" What will happen with the summer season?  It is unimaginable that if we do not have a vaccine, hundreds of thousands of Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires residents will go to the coast. They would carry the disease en masse," Gollan said in dialogue with AM 1440 and the Buenos Aires Deputies.

I continue: "We are going to have to think day by day what we are doing, generating strategies, correcting errors, opening activities and re-closing if things get out of hand."

The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this Thursday another 147 deaths and 7,513 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. It is the day with the most infections, breaking yesterday's record of 7,147.

Since the start of the pandemic, 4,251 fatal victims and 228,195 positives have been counted in the country, of which 116,695 are from patients who are currently studying the disease.

"In the Province of Buenos Aires we are in the growth stage (of cases), which when it begins to drop steadily will not be an acute peak, but rather spread over time. We still have a good number of intensive care beds. But the demand for beds has doubled rapidly and that is worrying , "Gollan said.

He continued: "A large part of all the contagions of the outbreaks in the Interior are friends who got together to fish , to have a baby shower, to play soccer or to do a barbecue;  generally it is someone who comes from the AMBA infected - sometimes in asymptomatic - and participate in a social gathering. "

After knowing the sayings of Gollan, Martín Yeza -intendent of Pinamar who gave days positive for Covid-19- published on his social networks: "I understand the position of Minister Gollán regarding tourism, but it is a position. I do not want to polemicize anything Because I understand that tourism is not and should not be their priority, we work with Ministers Augusto Costa and Matías Lammens to have a season. "

I understand Minister Gollán's position on tourism, but it is a position. I do not want to argue anything because I understand that tourism is not and should not be your priority, we work with the Ministers @ CostaAugusto9 and @MatiasLammens to have a season.
