Senior Superintendent Wu Guozhang of the Narcotics Bureau said that the police found criminals selling drugs online, the situation is rampant and the number is on the rise. After investigation, the police launched an operation from August 4 to 6, arresting 37 men and 4 women for three consecutive days. The 41 men and women were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking, including 5 middle school students, 2 college students and 18 people who reported unemployed, some of them have triad background. One man was charged with drug trafficking and appeared in court today, and most of the other arrested persons were released on bail pending further investigation. According to the police, two of the arrested persons were arrested for criminal damage in the anti-amendment incident last year. The police found that toxic criminals set up a Telegram group to contact buyers, and some groups uploaded pictures and texts to introduce the teaching of marijuana cigarettes.
