Kwai Tsing District Council Chairman Sin Chung-kai said on Facebook that the problematic water supply affected a wide range of areas, including Lai Yiu Village, Zu Yao Village, Ho King Terrace, Tai Wo Hau, Shek Lei One Village, Kwai Chung Village, Shek Lei Village, Shek Yi He has contacted as many as 6 other local district councilors to follow up with the Water Supplies Department in various places on the Raft Building and Kwai Shing East Village. He also said that the department apologized for the incident and sent staff to flush the water supply network and inspect the water supply system.

The department began to arrange water supply to the fresh water tank last night.

A reporter from "Hong Kong 01" went to inspect the area last night. It can be seen that water tanks from the Water Supplies Department are located outside of Kai Jing Building in Zu Yao Village and Fu Bang Building in Tai Wo Kou Village. Yu Bo, who lives in Qiqian House, Zuyao Village, said that the water quality has deteriorated in the past two days, and it was worse as yellow muddy water yesterday. Drinking water is not drinkable. You must buy distilled water to go home.
