Think some people think she can't get a foothold in the industry

The prosecution continued to broadcast the cautionary meeting video. The female defendant Wang Zheng (41) said bluntly during the meeting that someone wanted to prevent her from gaining a foothold in the industry, but it is not clear who harmed her. One of the documents involved was suspected of adding a "1" to the thousands digits, which turned the hundreds of dollars in meal expenses into more than 1,000 dollars. The defendant denied that the word "1" was written and insisted that she had eaten in the restaurant. She also wondered why the silver codes appeared.

Handwritten silver code has been received on receipt

Chen Jingyao, a personal customer service assistant, confessed that her duties included arranging business trips for the defendant and other customer managers and filling out expense reimbursement forms. She claimed that all the receipts involved in the case were provided by the defendant, and some of the slips had handwritten silver codes. She did not know who filled them out and never changed the amount. Chen Xudao, after filling in the form, the defendant will be allowed to review and sign. If it needs to be changed later, the system will send an email to notify the other party.

The defendant explained in the warning meeting that one of the receipts included the cost of purchasing gift boxes in the restaurant. Chen stated that the company has a reimbursement system for gift giving, but the documents in the case only involved food and beverage expenses, not gifts.

Have seen the defendant's documents folder

The defense counsel Xu Zhuolun cross-examined whether Chen would confuse the defendant with the receipts of other account managers. Chen responded that it never happened and added that the other party would sign relevant documents. Even if the defendant found no errors, other account managers should pay attention. She said that the defendant would hand in the bills, but she also tried to return to her seat and found a folder containing the defendant's bills on the table. As for whether all the documents in the case were submitted by the defendant himself, Chen was not sure.

Agree that the defendant handles the documents in a mess

Chen also agreed that the defendant was a good boss and did not think that the other party would deceive the company. She described the other party's handling of documents in a mess, sometimes late in submitting receipts and failing to reimburse expenses, and losing receipts.

The defendant denied using 8 restaurant receipts containing false information to reimburse expenses between March 2016 and May 2017 in order to deceive East West Bank. The receipts seem to have been issued by five restaurants including Taixing, Zhengdou, Xingyuelou, Beiyuan Restaurant, and Loyalty Cafe Thai Cuisine, involving more than 16,000 yuan.

The case will continue next Monday.
