And the happy winner declared: “This is my first race victory in Figaro Bénéteau, I waited for it and I did everything to get it, it's nice! In the poetic sense of sport, I saw some very beautiful things: the first night, a shower of shooting stars; the second, an exceptional red moon, then thunderstorms. We were also able to sail with the dolphins, this is the fun part of the regatta where we take in the view. On the technical side, I was in the top 5 from the chaussée de Sein. I knew I could win, but I needed a measure of success, which I provoked, in particular by the lucidity I had at the end of the course, by having a good rest yesterday afternoon. As I had announced, the passage of Birvideaux turned the whole race upside down and I don't think I made a lot of mistakes, which allowed me to come out on top. I really stayed focused until the last leg to resist the attacks of my competitors! The objectives have been reached for this Solo Guy Cotten and give me confidence for the next stage of the circuit.
