Towards 16:00, the police updated that investigators from the Rishon LeZion station located eight suspects involved in the incident, including five young people aged 17 to 21, and three suspects aged 17 to 22. The young people are residents of Ness Ziona, Ramla and Lod, and they were taken for questioning. 

At the same time this morning, the Rishon Lezion police officers began collecting testimonies from the young man's friends, who said that they were in a restaurant and at the end of the entertainment they walked in the direction of the vehicle. At that point, an argument began with a group of young people in the parking lot, who slipped into a brawl. During it, one of the young men pulled out a knife and stabbed the deceased. The assailant and his friends then fled in a vehicle while breaking through the parking lot barrier at the exit. Police collected findings from the scene, including documentation from security cameras to learn about what happened before the stabbing, as well as details that will help locate those involved.

At 03:37, a report was received at the MDA hotline in the Ayalon area about a young man who was injured during a brawl at Arba Arba in Rishon Lezion. An investigation was subsequently opened.
