A fire broke out in Al Dimas area

A fire broke out today in a land spread by dry weeds in the Dimas area in the western countryside of Damascus, and the fire brigade is currently working to extinguish it.

The commander of the Damascus Countryside Fire Brigade, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Jardi, told SANA's correspondent that an unknown fire broke out near the Sahara road junction in the Dimas area and extended towards one of the hills in the area.

Al-Jaradi indicated that members of the Qudsaya fire station, with the support of the Civil Defense, are working to extinguish it, pointing out that the fire is far from residential buildings.
