Since the first case of coronavirus was confirmed five months ago, in Argentina there are 241,811 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. Among those infected, this Saturday it transpired that there is one of Diego Maradona's sisters. It is about Rita, better known as Kity, the mother of Chino Maradona (Walter Christian Machuca).
As Clarín was able to find out , Kity Maradona is asymptomatic but underwent the test because her husband, Raúl Machuca, tested positive and is hospitalized. Furthermore, Diego Maradona was not in contact with them.
The scoop was given by the journalist Lio Pecoraro in the Crónica program "The run run of the show". There, they assured that "Kity and her husband began to feel bad" and that "she is isolated at home and Diego's brother-in-law has been hospitalized for a week in serious condition."
Diego Maradona, meanwhile, will take the test next week. On Tuesday, the doctor Leopoldo Luque will do the swabbing of the Gymnastics coach so that he can attend the training sessions of the La Plata team in the return of the First Division football activity.
"Preparing for the return to training," he wrote on his Instagram account two days ago. Maradona accompanied the text with a photo in which he is seen smiling and exercising at home on an electrical tape.

Diego is the fifth of eight siblings of the Maradona clan. Ana, Rita (Kity) and Elsa (Lili) are the oldest and over 60, while María Rosa (Mary) and Claudia (Cali) are the youngest. The other men, meanwhile, are Raúl (Lalo) and Hugo (El Turco), both younger than Diego.
