(CNN Spanish) - FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich sealed their qualification for the quarterfinals of the European Champions League this Saturday, leaving Napoli and Chelsea on the way, respectively.
The Catalans, after 1-1 in the first leg in Naples, resolved the tie early to defeat the Italian club 3-1. Lionel Messi shone with a high-quality goal, while the other goals were the work of Clément Lenglet and Luis Suárez.
In this way, Messi reached 30 goals in 27 games for the round of 16 in the Champions League, an unprecedented record in the tournament.
For their part, Bayern Munich confirmed their pass with a new victory over Chelsea 4-1, thus qualifying with a comfortable 7-1 aggregate score.
Once again, the Polish Robert Lewandowski appeared on the scoreboard with a double and reached 13 goals in the tournament in just 7 commitments, thus consolidating himself as the top scorer in the current European competition.
