Specifically: US researchers have apparently developed new antiviral agents that inhibit various coronaviruses and in some cases even kill them. The MDR reports on this and refers to a corresponding study that was published in Science magazine.

Researchers from the US universities in Wichita, Iowa, Kansas and from a New York research center have developed these active ingredients - along with remarkable test results.
