MDA crews who arrived at the scene found him in a critical condition, performed resuscitation operations on him, but were eventually pronounced dead.

This is the fourth case in which a person has drowned to death in the past week. Yesterday, a 25-year-old man died in a drowning near the Four Seasons beach in Netanya, on Monday a 17-year-old boy drowned near the Kamel beach in Haifa and on Sunday a resident of Shuafat, a seven-year-old boy, died as a result of drowning on the Dugit beach in the Sea of Galilee.
