The Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab wants to apply for new elections. This is the only way to overcome the country's deep crisis, he said. Diab rejected responsibility for the country's economic and political problems.

According to the Lebanese Red Cross, more than 110 people were injured in violent protests in Beirut on Saturday. Local media quoted the aid organization as saying that 32 people were admitted to the hospital.

Some of the demonstrators had penetrated the Foreign Ministry and called for all ministries to be occupied. You blame the regime for the devastating situation in the country and for the explosion in the port of Beirut four days ago.
