Lattakia governorate today issued a circular to all state administrations regarding additional measures that must be taken to prevent Coronavirus, in accordance with the instructions of the government team concerned with measures to combat the spread of the virus.
The circular that came based on the proposals of the Health Sub-Council meeting, which included the governor, the director of health, directors of public hospitals and independent bodies, the medical director of Tishreen University Hospital, the assistant director of health and members of the follow-up team participating in receiving cases of Coronavirus, stipulated that all drivers in public transport must wear a mask and adhere By the number of bus seats and the daily sterilization of all means of transport.
The circular affirmed that citizens do not enter government institutions except after wearing a mask, closing the beaches at 8 pm, preventing hookahs in them, and closing all private institutes and schools that conduct educational and training courses for students until the date of 8/28-2020.
The circular also stipulated the cessation of all social activities “condolences or joys in closed halls” and game stores, and the banning of hookahs in all closed or open cafes, with an emphasis on achieving spacing in these cafes and reducing the absorption rates to 40 percent.
