Not a word about masks, not a word about distance and hygiene, not a word about class size, ventilation, previous illnesses or tests. Not a word about Corona.
This is just one example from Berlin, things may be different at other schools, and we don't want to be unfair: There was a corona letter, shortly before the start of the vacation, sent on behalf of the Senate Administration, with the recommendation "at least 14 days before the start of classes to return from a vacation trip with even a temporary stay in a risk area ". If the quarantine period has not yet expired at the start of the class and there is no medical certificate, the absence in class is considered to be unexcused.
