Damascus-Sana
Temperatures tend to drop slightly in the western regions, to approach their levels, as a result of the country being affected by the extension of a surface depression from the southeast, accompanied by western currents in the upper atmosphere.
The Directorate General of Meteorology expected in its morning bulletin today that the weather will be normal and clear in general to partly cloudy over the coastal areas with the opportunity for local showers of rain to fall over these areas at night and the air will continue to be dusty and hot in the eastern regions, the island and the Badia.
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly moderate to brisk with strong gusts in the afternoon, with speeds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour, and the sea is light to average wave height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to decrease to become less than their average by about 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in most regions, and the weather will be moderate in summer, between clear and partly cloudy in general, with the opportunity for sporadic showers of rain remaining over the coastal areas and a dusty nebula on the eastern regions, the island and the desert.
