The "Qasd" militia continued to besiege several villages in the Shuhail area, southeast of Deir Ezzor, kidnapped a number of civilians and deployed checkpoints inside several villages in an attempt to control the protest demonstrations demanding the expulsion of it and the American occupation forces from the area.
Civil sources told SANA that the people of the towns of Al-Tayyana, Dhiban, and Al-Hawaij continued their demonstrations and protests to expel the “Qasd militia” and the US occupation forces from the area, while a number of young men at dawn today cut the main roads with stones and burning tires.
The sources pointed out that the "Qasd militia" brought additional reinforcements to the area and carried out raids in the towns of Hawaij and Theban and kidnapped a number of civilians in parallel with the deployment of checkpoints to control the demonstrations demanding their expulsion, pointing out that clashes with light and medium weapons broke out between unknown persons and the "Qasd militia" near the main street. And the secondary school and roundabout from the town of Theban.
Yesterday, the "Qasd" militia raided Al-Kassar camp on the outskirts of the city of Al-Shuhail in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and kidnapped a number of civilians and continued to station them at the entrances and exits of the cities and towns of Dhiban, Al-Shehail and Al-Hawayj, imposed a state of ban and prevented the performance of Friday prayers in the Al-Rawdah and Al-Taqwa mosques in the city of Al-Shuhail after they took them as headquarters to her.
