The US president predicts that the November election could be the "most inaccurate and fraudulent" in history. Apparently he has a plan.

On November 6, 2018, US citizen Kirk Nielsen logs on to the website of his constituency in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Nielsen wants to see whether his vote has been registered and counted. It is the day of the congressional election when the House of Representatives and about a third of the Senators are re-elected. Nielsen posted his ballot eight days earlier. On the website he states: He is not registered.

"I was insecure and thought maybe the page hasn't been updated," he says. After asking several times, he finally receives a scanned copy of his envelope. The postmark is dated November 9th, three days after the elections. The authorities received the letter two days later - too late to be counted.

Nielsen sues the State of Florida, but it ends in a frustrating settlement. Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis publicly admitted to voting by post, Nielsen said on the phone. "But he did practically nothing to solve the problems that led to the numerous unrecounted ballots."
