The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced at about 10 pm Hong Kong time last night that 11 relevant Hong Kong and Mainland officials have been sanctioned because of Hong Kong’s enactment of the "Hong Kong National Security Act", including Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam, Secretary of Justice Zheng Ruohua, Director of the Liaison Office Luo Huining, and Guoan The Director of the Office of the Commissioner Zheng Yanxiong and others, actions include freezing their property and interests in the United States.
