At about 10 o'clock last night (8th), the police received a report from a man who alleged that his 47-year-old father Zhou was hung up by a cloth belt and immediately removed him. Police officers arrived at the scene, and the victim was in a coma and was sent to United Hospital for treatment and was certified dead. Initial investigation by the police believed that the incident was not suspicious, and the cause of death of the deceased has yet to be determined after an autopsy. It is understood that the deceased served as a police officer and stationed in the Fanling Court.

This is the second suicide case of a police officer this year. On the 22nd of last month, a 37-year-old off-duty male policeman fell off a building and died at his residence in Desheng Building, Detian Village. In recent years, he suffered from muscle disease and early Parkinson's disease. He was forced to transfer to the back office. After joining the police force for more than 12 years, he was arrested on suspicion of sneaking photos of the skirt under his skirts before he fell.
