The day after a large-scale demonstration in Beirut, dozens of people gathered this Sunday in Paris, Place du Trocadéro to call for a change of system in Lebanon with the departure of all current leaders. After the deadly double explosion last Tuesday, the situation has become chaotic in Beirut. Over 300,000 people found themselves without housing overnight. Yesterday, Saturday, a huge crowd gathered in the streets of Beirut to challenge the power in place. The demonstrators in particular entered several ministries and obtained early elections, when they called for the resignation of their leaders. A Lebanese policeman was nevertheless killed.

A donors' conference is currently being held, since 2 p.m., to find immediate funding to help Lebanon. During this conference, the European Union released an additional 30 million euros, after 33 million sent on Thursday.
