Sergio Massa mediated in the fight between one of the heads of the General Labor Confederation and Máximo Kirchner, after the son of the vice president and head of the Frente de Todos bloc pointed out the trade unionists for having held a virtual meeting with the Association Argentine Entrepreneur (AEA).
"This boy did not work in his life and he comes to tell us how we have to handle ourselves", was the phrase of Carlos Acuña that was heard in a closed-door meeting of the Board of Directors of the CGT and that was anticipated exclusively by Clarín .
This Saturday night, Massa went to the program "Sobredosis de TV" on C5N and said that he reproached the union leader for his disparaging words. "The only thing we cannot afford each other are personal grievances , " he said.
In addition, he recounted his dialogue with Acuña to question that he had "personally disqualified" the deputy and said that the union leader asked him to "transmit his apologies to Máximo . "
"We can think differently. We never have to fall into the disqualification of the other , because those are the places that do not return," was the final reflection of the president of the Lower House.
The controversy began because, in a session, Máximo Kirchner pointed out against the CGT leaders for making a "zoom from their homes -with businessmen- while asking workers to go to produce at the risk of getting sick and that they have to leave because otherwise the country does not produce ". And the anger of the cegetista leadership made up of Acuña and Héctor Daer transcended the office of the UOCRA headquarters where it was held
For this reason, Massa picked up the phone to speak with Acuña, General Secretary of the Union of Workers and Employees of Service Stations and his union ally.
The deputy and the union member were allied and maintain a close bond. For the 2019 elections, Acuña supported the presidential candidacy of the leader of the Frente Renovador and even asked for a Peronist intern with Cristina Kirchner and Roberto Lavagna. Something that never happened.
Now, Massa asked the union member to internally settle his differences with Máximo Kirchner, as he did himself, who in the past left his promise to "sweep away the gnocchi from La Cámpora" to join the Frente de Todos.
