This evening, the artist, Tony Moussa, died at the age of 66, due to complications from his infection with the Coronavirus, at Al-Assad University Hospital.

The Syndicate of Artists mourned the late Musa, who was born in Damascus in 1954, and his artistic tendencies appeared at an early age, so he participated in theatrical performances, then in cinema and television, before joining the Syndicate of Syrian Artists in 1985.

The beginnings of his artistic journey were through his participation in the 1974 series “The Revenge of the Zuba,” under the direction of the late director Ghassan Jabri.

He also participated during his artistic career in many theatrical performances such as "The Man Who Laughed at the Angels - The People in the Eighth Sama - The Mother - Died and Mattab - The Hitt was Broken - The Return of the Absent."

In the cinema, he had several contributions, including when the wives were absent with Duraid, Nihad, Asahi and A Virgin from the Sand, in addition to his participation in many dramas and serials broadcast by Damascus Radio as “a story that has a beginning with no end - a love story - the rule of justice - and amazing phenomena.”

He also participated in dozens of dramas, including Fawzia, The Red Tear, Zaman of Silence, Bab Al Hara 3, Hot Winter, Takht East and Beyond the Sun, The Fall of the Caliphate, Women of this Time, Rings and Touq for Girls and others.
