Tegernsee - Tegernsee is one new record richer: Charly Bauer and his wife Sandra have received the Bavaria record for the largest age difference between two spouses in the Free State from the radio station Antenne Bayern : The two are 43 years apart. Charly (78) is older than Sandra's (35) father. In doing so , they surpassed all of the competitors who took part in the campaign.
A record with a long history. The couple met at Sandra's parents' house. Charly, a painter by trade, was painting the outside walls there when he saw his future wife walking past under his scaffolding. “So I said: I have to look it up somehow.” When the two of them got to know each other, they realized: It is love.

Despite the love: The couple's age difference kept creating special moments. For example, when Sandra introduced her future husband Charly to her father. She still remembers exactly: “At the beginning it was of course a shock for everyone,” she says. In the meantime, however, dad and husband have found each other: "It's now a very good and also a very warm relationship," reports Sandra happily.

The price both very happy. Sandra, because she doesn't have to cook. Charly because he can enjoy something new. With a twinkling eye he says: "There is finally something to eat!"
