Covid-19: Brazil exceeds 3 million cases and 100,000 deaths 3:54
(CNN Spanish) - Outbreaks, new restrictions, some countries still in the first wave, the world is facing a covid-19 pandemic that does not seem close to its end and that adds almost 20 million infections globally.
America is the continent hardest hit by the coronavirus, with the United States adding more than 5 million cases and Brazil, 3 million.
This is how the week of August 10 begins in the ten Latin American countries most affected by the virus, according to figures from Johns Hopkins University.

Starting this August 12, cinemas, museums and swimming pools will be able to reopen to 30% of their capacity with strict measures and sanitary filters in Mexico City. In the case of bars, they may only open as restaurants and with restricted hours until 10:00 p.m.
The government of the capital took the measure due to the decrease in hospitalizations for coronavirus.

This Sunday, the Colombian Ministry of Health reported through a statement that 10,611 new cases of covid-19 and 302 deaths were registered.

This Sunday, the Ministry of Health of Ecuador reported through a statement that there are 94,459 confirmed cases of covid-19 and 5,922 deceased people.
🇧🇴 Bolivia
Confirmed cases: 89,999
Deaths: 3,640
With the number of 944 new confirmed cases of coronavirus this Sunday, Bolivia added a total of 89,999 positive cases nationwide, according to the latest report published by the Ministry of Health.
The country registers 3,640 deaths, 29,808 recovered patients, 14,616 suspected cases, and 86,309 discarded cases, according to the report.
🇩🇴 Dominican Republic
Confirmed cases: 79,732
Deaths: 1,309
The Ministry of Public Health of the Dominican Republic reported 954 new cases of coronavirus this Sunday, so the total number of confirmed cases in the country increased to 79,732. The Ministry also reported 20 new deaths, adding a total of 1,309 deaths from covid-19.
