Judges of the 28 Criminal Oral Courts of the city of Buenos Aires questioned this Monday the judicial reform promoted by the Government, which is already being debated in congressional committees.
The magistrates who judge "ordinary crimes" mainly criticized that the reform does not specify the fate of judges who are in courts that, if the reform is approved, would disappear.
"It says nothing about the magistrates who still remain in office," they pointed out in a document.
The brief, to which Infobae had access, was prepared by the Executive Commission of the National Board of Presidents of National Oral Courts, made up of judges Gabriel Vega, Adrián Pérez Lance, Hugo Cataldi, Sergio Paduczak, Federico Salvá and Luis Altieri.
Beyond the criticism, they indicated that the judges of these courts "agree on the need to modernize the federal Justice, as well as on the move towards an adversarial system."
