Staff at a Bristol auction office in Britain found Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi's glasses inserted inside a parcel.
The BBC quoted an auction expert Andrew Stewie as saying: "The glasses will be offered for sale after they were found, as it was placed in an unknown mailbox and remained stuck in it until an employee found it."
And the British expert, Stewie, announced that the Indian leader's glasses are expected to sell for nearly 15,000 pounds, as they are scheduled to be auctioned online on the 21st of August.
Mahatma Gandhi was known as a historical figure who left a great impact on the liberation movements in the world and the struggle against racism and slavery as he fought for the independence of India from the clutches of British colonialism.
