Prime Minister Netanyahu is morally committed to fulfilling the rotation agreement with Bnei Gantz, who saved Israel in a dramatic moment. This does not contradict our commitment to look at this historic event and understand that the rotation agreement and the unity government were violated by Israel's elite. This important agreement was not signed. Only as a contract between Netanyahu and Gantz, but as a national reconciliation agreement between Second Israel and the national-traditional camp and First Israel.

What was the reaction of the first Israeli elite to the idea of ​​reconciliation at this historic moment? The moderate faction in the first Israel, the Bnei Gantz faction, was defeated by those who refused reconciliation. The reaction to the noble move of Ganz and his friends who ostensibly supplied the goods, only in a democratic and reconciled way - another year and a half Netanyahu is replaced - was rage and a campaign of demonstrations.

Blue and white split not because Lapid and his friends believed that Netanyahu would not maintain the rotation, but because they refused the idea of ​​reconciliation. And they refused the idea of ​​reconciliation because it is part of the culture of the elitist faction in the first (not all) Israel. One for some limited time they need a catharsis of intoxication of power that will prove that they are the lords of the land despite the vote of the democratic majority.
