Li Zhiying’s assistant Mark Simon posted on Twitter, confirming that the detectives came to Li Zhiying and his son’s apartment to search for evidence with a search warrant.
It is also known that there are also several senior officials of One Media, including Chief Executive Officer Zhang Jianhong and Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Zhou Daquan; Mark Simon is wanted by the police.
The 72-year-old Li Zhiying is involved in lawsuits. 15 pan-democrats, including him, were accused of participating in and organizing unapproved gatherings during the anti-amendment campaign from August to October last year.
