(CNN Spanish) - The head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, said this Monday that she will isolate herself until the test on the new coronavirus is carried out, after her Secretary of Government, José Alfonso Suárez del Real, tested positive with covid-19.

The governor affirmed in her Twitter account that she is well, and that she will work from home.

«According to protocol, I will stay at home for the next few days, until I take the test again. I am in perfect condition and attending to everything remotely, "said Sheinbaum, who commented that on Sunday he was with Suárez del Real.

The Secretary of the Government of Mexico City announced this Monday on his Twitter account that he tested positive for coronovarius, that he feels good and that he gave notice to all the people with whom he was in contact.

"I continue to lead all my functions from home," said Suárez del Real.

Mexico City is in orange in its epidemiological traffic light, which limits non-essential activities, registering 80,383 confirmed cases and 9,407 people killed by covid-19, according to its report on Sunday.
