(CNN) –– A beloved grandmother, who spent her entire life taking care of her family, is showing the world that it is never too late to make your dreams come true.

Dorothy Pollack, who turned 103 in June, now spends her days going through her wish list. Your first adventure? Get a frog tattooed in honor of the only thing you love more than beer and hamburgers.

On June 16, Pollack celebrated her birthday at a nursing home located in Muskegon, Michigan, where she spent months in isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.

"The covid-19 kept her in prison for months," Teresa Zavitz-Jones, her granddaughter, told CNN, referring to her grandmother's confinement in the asylum.

“The local nurse said she was terribly depressed and we needed to get her out. We couldn't see her, so we had no idea how she really was. She has extreme hearing loss, so the phone calls weren't helpful, ”Zavitz-Jones said.

Weeks after being discharged from the nursing home, Pollack suddenly decided he wanted to get a tattoo.

"It was very exciting because years ago my grandson wanted me to do one and I didn't," Pollack told CNN. Suddenly I decided that I would like to have one. And if I could, a frog. Because I like frogs, ”he laughed.

On Friday, Pollack rolled up his sleeves and sat patiently while the tattoo was done. While most people would flinch at the feel of a needle in their skin, she barely moved.

"She behaved like a champion. I didn't even see her wince. Maybe she winced once, ”said Ray Reasoner Jr., who tattooed Pollack at AWOL Custom Tattooing in Muskegon. I was so excited. It was an incredible experience. If someone of more than a century tells you to do something for him or her, you have to do it.

Reasoner added that Pollack is the oldest person he has ever tattooed in his life.

After getting the tattoo, which he said he "loved," Pollack decided to fulfill another experience on his wish list: taking a nice motorcycle ride.

But the adventures definitely won't stop there.
