The Spanish Ministry of Health recorded 1,418 new cases of the new Corona virus during the past twenty-four hours, which is less than the high numbers recorded by the country last week.
The ministry stated in its daily report that the total number of corona infections in Spain increased during the last day by 1418 cases, to reach 326,612 cases since the virus began spreading in the country, noting that the virus claimed 64 lives during the past seven days, while the total number of deaths reached 28,500 cases.
It is noteworthy that Spain, one of the countries most affected by the virus in Europe, has been suffering since it lifted general isolation measures across the country in order to contain a rise in new infection rates, which are more concentrated in the densely populated areas of Madrid and Catalonia.
In turn, the French health authorities recorded 1,397 new cases of coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, which is almost twice the number recorded in yesterday's statistic.
The Ministry of Health website stated that 15 deaths were recorded in hospitals as a result of the virus, compared with 16 cases recorded during a three-day period from Saturday to Monday, bringing the total deaths to 30,354.
