Egypt today recorded 168 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, and 24 deaths due to it.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated that the total number of infections that have been registered in Egypt with the virus to date is 95,834 cases, including 54,888 cases that have been cured and 5059 deaths.
