The subsidiary centers of the Syrian Foundation for Grains and Seed Multiplication in Daraa continue to receive peasants ’wheat production, amid easy procedures for delivery or the exchange of crop values through the branches of cooperative agricultural banks.
The director of the Syrian Grain Corporation branch, Eng. Issam Al-Sayyasna, stated in a statement to the SANA reporter that the turnout for marketing is proceeding at a weak pace after the delivery of the bulk of the production, stressing that the invoices are disbursed quickly and without delay.
For his part, the Director of the Seed Multiplication Corporation branch, Eng. Ghazi Al-Nassif, stated that the marketed quantities are good and the branch is close to completing its plan for this season, stressing that the branch has disbursed all bills and newly delivered quantities that do not need more than 48 hours for actual disbursement through the Agricultural Cooperative Bank branch in Bazraa.
Vice President of the Peasants' Union in Daraa, Muhammad Zuhair al-Jundi, stated that the delay in marketing is due to the lack of harvesting mechanisms in the governorate, stressing that the season is promising and the marketed quantities are good compared to previous seasons.
