Songs from the planet of the East, Umm Kulthum, combined with the throats of Syrian female singers during a musical evening, recalled memories of the beautiful time and its nights filled with feelings of love, longing and adoration on the strings composed by the geniuses of Arab music.

The evening hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Kafr Sousse and organized with adherence to the measures to prevent the Coronavirus, was titled “Eid Night”, which was performed by the oud player Rabie al-Baghdadi with the oriental musical takht led by musician Adnan Safar.

The two singers enjoyed the gift of Al-Sebiny and Ahlam Deeb. The audience heard the song “Ghanili Shoy Shoy” by Sheikh Zakaria Ahmed, which has a popular melody that evokes the authentic art of Cairo and its beautiful nights.

Then the magic of Al-Kalthoumi followed, pouring into the spirit of the audience different spectrums of beauty through songs that were not only increased by time, such as the songs “Ali Balad Al-Mahboub and Dini” by Riyad Al-Sunbati, “Al-Ward Jamil” by Zakaria Ahmed, “Ya-Saharni” by Sayed Makkawi, and “One Thousand and One Nights” by Baligh Hamdi And "Ask your soul" by Muhammad Almogy.

The two singers Deeb and El Sebiny shone in their tarab performance, which rebelled against the concept of  contemporary song and boldly returned to the time of real art by leaning on the harmonious playing of the band on the oud, qanun, flute and counterbass.
