Insecurity is growing at a worrying rate in the Greater Buenos Aires. This time it was the turn of a young man in Laferrere, La Matanza district, who was the victim of an assault, he did not resist, but he was still shot at point-blank range .
It was the last Friday, but it was only announced this Monday. The young man was returning from work when he was intercepted by a criminal who, in addition to robbing him, shot him in the abdomen.
As seen in the footage taken by a security camera in the area, the criminal got out of a white car (his accomplice waited for him with the vehicle on) and pointed at the young man who was walking along the sidewalk.
Seconds later, the assailant takes out his jacket and backpack, and shoots him at point-blank range, without his having resisted.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Avenida Luro and Calle Lira, in Laferrere, La Matanza, near kilometer 26 of Route 3.

" I have a God apart, I got it cheap and today I can tell. We are asking for more security, " said the victim, Alexis, in statements to the TN news channel . The young man said he was coming home when he was assaulted.
" I have the bullet, but they cannot remove it from me because of the coronavirus . I was under observation one day and they let me go," the victim concluded. A witness to the assault said he feels the neighborhood "is becoming a no-man's-land."
"Here we have to show reality as it is. We are already tired, I don't know what they are waiting for ... That we arm ourselves and shoot at the jets?" And he asked the mayor (Fernando Espinoza) "to put on his pants."
The assault followed by shooting was close to where at the end of last Julythey killed a policeman who tried to prevent a robbery with a bullet in the head. Iván Leonel Triveño (25), an agent of the Buenos Aires Police, was in his mother's business and saw how thieves wanted to rob a soft drink dealer.
Two suspects were arrested accused of having participated in the homicide. The two arrests were made in a series of five raids, four of them in the towns of Villa Luzuriaga and Los Pinos, of the La Matanza district, and the remaining one in Libertad, Merlo.
