Lattakia-Sana
The National Seismological Center announced that a 3.1-magnitude earthquake occurred this evening off the Syrian coast, 30 kilometers northwest of Lattakia.
The center stated that the stations of the National Seismic Network at the center recorded a moderate earthquake of 3.1 degrees on the Richter scale and 19 km deep off the Syrian coast, 30 km northwest of Lattakia.
On the twenty-fourth of last July, the national grid stations recorded a moderate earthquake measuring 3.8 degrees on the Richter scale, 60 km north of Damascus and 15 km east of the Lebanese city of Baalbek.
