Today, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Turkish aggression and its continuous violations on Iraqi lands, stressing that it is an unacceptable violation of the country's sovereignty.
"The Turkish attacks represent an unacceptable violation of Iraq's sovereignty and a new threat to regional security and stability," the ministry said in a statement.
Yesterday, at least twenty people were killed and wounded as a result of a Turkish aggression targeting the Erbil governorate in northern Iraq.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime forces have repeatedly violated the sanctity of Iraqi lands and were stationed at the end of 2015 in the Bashiqa area near the city of Mosul, which was confirmed by the Iraqi government that it constitutes aggression and a violation of Iraq's sovereignty and in violation of the rules of international law and demanded the withdrawal of Turkish forces.
