(CNN Spanish) - FC Barcelona reported this Wednesday through a statement that a club player has tested positive for covid-19.
The Catalan club explained that it is a player who arrived within a group of 9 players who was going to start their preseason. The club added that this player is asymptomatic.

The Blaugrana team clarified that this player has not been in contact with the members of the squad who are preparing to travel to Lisbon for the knockout series of the Champions League that will be played this weekend and where the culé team will face Bayern Munich .
Barcelona's main squad is planning to travel to Lisbon this Thursday. The club is tracking all the people who had contact with the player who tested positive.
