The Mexican Ministry of Health announced that 926 deaths and 6,686 new confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, the total number of injuries in the country rose to 492,522, and deaths to 53,929.
And Mexico is ranked third in the world in terms of the number of deaths due to the virus, after the United States and Brazil, and sixth in terms of infections, after these two countries, India, Russia and South Africa.
In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today that 1226 confirmed cases were recorded, bringing the total number to 218510, and the number of deaths increased by six cases to 9207.
In China, the National Health Committee said today ... that it recorded 25 new cases of Coronavirus on the mainland, down from 44 the previous day.
The commission stated in a statement that the number includes 16 imported cases, while the remaining cases were locally transmitted in Xinjiang.
The total number of confirmed infections in China has reached 84,737, while the number of deaths remains unchanged at 4,634.
In a related context, the Aviation Regulatory Authority in China announced today that it will suspend the flights of Etihad Airways on its line between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai and China Eastern Airlines on the Manila Shanghai line for a week, starting from August 17, due to the emergence of cases of Coronavirus.
The Chinese Civil Aviation Administration added that Sri Lankan Airlines will stop operating its line between Colombo and Shanghai for four weeks, starting on August 17, due to the high number of Corona cases among arriving passengers.
