New crown pneumonia | Employment Agency Association expects about 2500 domestic domestic helpers to find difficult to track the results of unpredictable testing

[10:30] Zhang Jiemin, chairman of the Association of Domestic Helpers, said that there are currently about 4,000 to 5,000 transferred foreign domestic helpers waiting for the Immigration Department to approve new visas. The number of occupants in intermediary dormitories is three to four times the previous number. Some of the dormitories commonly known as "boats" do not have a consulate license. It is difficult for the authorities to know the address of such dormitories. In addition, foreign domestic helpers will stay in different places. It is estimated that about half of the foreign domestic helpers cannot be traced for testing. It is difficult to predict the ultimate effect of the testing measures.

New crown pneumonia | He Bailiang: The number of confirmed diagnoses is not too optimistic, Russia's vaccine test is not as extensive as Europe and the United States

[10:00] The director of the Infection and Infectious Diseases Center of the University of Hong Kong, He Boliang, said on a radio program that the decline in numbers is indeed encouraging, but he is not optimistic, because the proportion of cases with unknown origin is still large. Regarding Russia's first local registration of the world's first new crown vaccine, He Boliang pointed out that according to Russian data, only 38 adults were vaccinated. If vaccine development is in the preliminary stage, in contrast, clinical trials in European and American countries are more extensive, with more than 10,000 people receiving the vaccine. Observation for half a year can give greater confidence in numbers.
