His phone was damaged as a result. He therefore filed a petition in the Small Claims Tribunal for repairs of $788 from the Department of Justice. And litigation costs, the case will be heard again today (12th). The Department of Justice applied to transfer the case to the High Court. The boys objected and pointed out that a case involving a claim of only several hundred dollars was transferred to the High Court. The practice was out of proportion. The case was postponed until October 21 for both parties to submit their submissions.

The claimant is Chen Feiyang and the defendant is the Secretary of Justice. The representative of the Department of Justice revealed that the application for dismissal of the claim is now suspended and it has been decided to first apply for the transfer of the case to the High Court. Chen objected and said that the case involved only a few hundred dollars, and that the transfer of the question to the High Court was out of proportion, but he asked the court to give him time to submit detailed reasons for the objection; the Attorney General also pointed out that he could submit further submissions to the court. The case was adjourned to October 21, so that both parties could argue about the transfer to the High Court.

The claimant had filed a complaint earlier that he conducted an interview as a student reporter at Gu You Street, Mong Kok on November 11 last year, but the riot police fired pepper balls at him without warning, causing his mobile phone to be damaged.
