Renaissance tradition revived in Florence

The establishments in Florence reopen the wine buchette, whose translation from Italian is small wine holes. These windows were used during the Renaissance in some cities in the Tuscany region to sell wine to go. The tradition revived after the measures of social distancing due to the pandemic. There are currently about 180 windows in Florence.
