Tax and Economics Attorney Adv. Liat Ben-Ari, the prosecutor in the Netanyahu trial, received a summons for an investigation together with her husband on suspicion of construction offenses in the apartment they own in Rosh HaAyin. This was reported in various media.

The hearing will be held at the Municipal Construction Supervision Unit. Ben Ari can choose not to come but then it is her duty and there the couple will be given to make their claims. The Rosh HaAyin municipality stated: "The investigation file is pending and cannot be commented on. When the investigation is completed, the case will be transferred to the prosecution like any other case and the prosecution will make a decision as it sees fit."

Liat Ben-Ari said in response that she did not know of any summons to the hearing.

Hanoch Oz, a member of the planning and construction plenum in Rosh HaAyin and a member of the city council, said: "I am glad that the system understood that it is not possible to evade the law. One law for everyone. It should be understood that this is a criminal proceeding for everything and these are serious economic offenses. "

The summons came after the publication in "Israel Today" and another series of publications on the suspicion. About a month ago, it will be recalled, it was reported that a house owned by Ben-Ari in a construction project in Rosh HaAyin was split up in violation of the law. In response to the publications, Ben-Ari claimed that she was not aware of the split, and that it was her husband's business that was unfamiliar with their details.

As reported in "Israel Today" in the past, this claim is puzzling since the project was marketed within the framework of a construction association, one of whose basic conditions is that the buyers be residents of Rosh HaAyin. However, the couple Liat Ben-Ari and Aviv Shviki were not residents of Rosh HaAyin and did not intend to live in the city, so they allegedly joined the construction association in violation of the association's bylaws. It now turns out that this construction project was managed by Aviv's brother, an entrepreneur named Hadar Shviki.

Minister of Internal Security Amir Ohana addressed the new details of the affair on Tuesday. The minister wrote on his Facebook page: "Whenever you think that the institutional corruption and the rotten organizational culture of the State Attorney's Office has reached the bottom of the ground - you discover an entire basement built without a permit under it."
