The branch of the General Fodder Corporation in Sweida rented a new batch of yellow maize, amounting to 100 tons, to secure the needs of chicken birds in the centers of Shahba and Arara Spring.

In a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin, the Director of the Corporation's branch, Eng. Wael Al-Shoufi, stated that this batch is added to a down payment that was leased last month with a quantity of 100 tons, of which about 62 tons were distributed to date, in addition to allocating good quantities to the Sweida Poultry facility.

Al-Shoufi pointed out that the sale of the material is to duly licensed poultry and according to books issued by the agricultural departments and certified by the Agriculture Directorate stating that the poultry farm is invested and produces production at a rate of 100 grams per bird and a reduced price of 400 pounds per kilogram.

The sales of the General Fodder Corporation branch in Sweida during the first half of the current year amounted to about 6273 tons of fodder materials, distributed by 4438 tons of bran, 1015 tons of ready-made milk and 820 tons of barley.
